National Assembly Delegation at 40th PABSEC General Assembly in Baku

The National Assembly’s standing delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) will take part in the 40th session of the PABSEC General Assembly in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 26 to 28 November 2012.


The topic of the general debate of the plenary session will be “The cities of the BSEC Member States: problems of the economic, environmental, cultural and social development”.
The other topics to be debated in the course of the General Assembly are “The role of public-private partnerships for sustainable economic development in BSEC member states”, “Social welfare reforms in the BSEC member states” and “Role of Parliaments in enhancing information (Cyber) security in the BSEC member states”.
The Third Black See Business Forum will also take place within the General Assembly, jointly organised by the Assembly and Turkish Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists, and it will gather businessmen, parliamentarians and government representatives of the Black Sea region states.
The host of the PABSEC autumn session is the Assembly of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The delegation of the National Assembly, headed by Predrag Markovic, acting delegation head, will comprise delegation members Sanda Raskovic Ivic and Bojan Kostres.
