In the discussion on "Putting an end to collective expulsions of foreigners", Vladimir Djordjevic raised key questions about the role and purpose of Frontex, pointing out the need to review its effectiveness. He raised the question of the justification for its existence after all these years, noting that Frontex, in his opinion, is not successful in protecting the lives of migrants and that it often only passively observes the events at the borders. His observations prompted a discussion on the effectiveness and responsibility of Frontex in protecting migrants.
