National Assembly's Standing Delegation at Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly January Session

The National Assembly's standing delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will take part in the PACE January session, taking place in Strasbourg, from 21 to 25 January 2013.


In the course of the January session, on 22 January, the PACE will be deliberating on the report on “The situation in Kosovo and the role of the Council of Europe" by the rapporteur of the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy, Björn von Sydow (Sweden, Socialist Group).
The agenda for the PACE winter session will, among other things, also contain the following reports: “Ensuring the viability of the Strasbourg Court: structural deficiencies in States Parties”, “Towards a Council of Europe convention to combat trafficking in organs, tissues and cells of human origin”, “The follow-up to the issue of political prisoners in Azerbaijan” and “Gender equality, reconciliation of personal and working life and shared responsibility”.
The members of the Parliamentary Assembly will be addressed by Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and the European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, Štefan Füle.
The National Assembly's delegation will comprise Natasa Vuckovic, Milos Aligrudic, Vesna Marjanovic, Stefana Miladinovic, Svetislava Bulajic, Elvira Kovacs, Sasa Milenic, Djordje Milicevic, Vladimir Ilic and Aleksandra Djurovic.
