NARS Standing Delegation at Council of Europe PA June Session in Strasbourg

The standing delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia comprising Prof. Dr Dragoljub Micunovic, Branko Ruzic, Natasa Vuckovic, Zeljko Ivanji, Dragan Todorovic, Milos Aligrudic, Natasa Jovanovic, Vjerica Radeta, Bojan Kostres and Elvira Kovacs will take part in the June session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe that will be held in Strasbourg from 20 to 24 June.


The third part of the 2011 PACE session will be dedicated to the Council of Europe budget priorities in 2012 and 2013 and the Assembly’s expenses, cooperation between the Council of Europe and the new democracies in the Arab countries, status of immigrants and asylum seekers, reform of the Parliamentary Assembly, role of national parliaments in the protection of human rights and development of social rights, as well as the report “Living together in the 21st century”.

Delegation deputy member Elvira Kovacs, as rapporteur of the Committee on Culture, Science and Education, will present the report titled ”Towards a European framework convention on youth rights” before the Parliamentary Assembly on Friday 24 June.
