NARS Speaker Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, in official visit to Kiev, talked to Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Yanovych Azarov.

Azarov sees the NARS Speaker’s visit as a deepening of all types of cooperation between Serbia and Ukraine. It was stressed that economic cooperation should be improved to both sides’ benefit, particularly in the spheres of engineering, chemical and agrarian industry, tourism, transport, as well as science and research. The Ukrainian side proposed the creation of an Inter-Governmental Commission on Economic Relations headed by both countries’ Prime Ministers, which would consider all relevant bilateral issues.

Azarov stated that he sees no impediments to the abolition of the visa regime between Serbia and the Ukraine, but added that bureaucratic obstacles should be overcome more rapidly.
