NARS Speaker Talks to Slovak Parliament Speaker

At the request of the Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Pavol Paska, a Serbian delegation headed by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic arrived today for an official two-day visit to the Slovak Republic.



At the request of the Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Pavol Paska, a Serbian delegation headed by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic arrived today for an official two-day visit to the Slovak Republic.

Immediately after its arrival in Bratislava, the Serbian delegation visited the Slovak Parliament where the two parliament speakers met. In the meeting they shared experiences of parliamentary work, estimating that the meeting and talks would represent the beginning of a very productive future cooperation between the Slovak and Serbian parliaments.

Djukic-Dejanovic expressed pleasure at Serbia and Slovakia enjoying good, traditionally friendly and close relations and the existence of continued political dialogue on all levels.

Paska repeated that Slovakia fully supports Serbia’s European integration and advocated the cause in European institutions and bilateral contacts.

Tomorrow, Assembly Speaker Djukic-Dejanovic will attend a session of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, the penultimate in the current convocation.
