The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic sent a telegram of condolences to the Speaker of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Boris Gryzlov on the fires raging in central Russia.

“I was deeply distressed by the news of human casualties and numerous Russian citizens losing their homes in the fires raging in central Russia. Allow me to extend most heartfelt condolences to you and the victims’ families on the behalf of the deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and myself, as well as hope that the damage caused by the fires would be repaired soon” states the telegram.
