NARS Speaker Receives Newly Appointed Australian Ambassador

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic received the newly-appointed Australian Ambassador to Belgrade, H.



The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic received the newly-appointed Australian Ambassador to Belgrade, H.E. Helena Gay Studdert.

Djukic-Dejanovic wished Studdert success in her ambassadorial work, sure that the Ambassador would contribute to the further development of friendly relations between Serbia and Australia.

The Ambassador invited the NARS Speaker to attend a reception at the Australian Embassy on 8 March, Women’s Day, organised as part of the initiative launched by the Australian Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd and US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton aimed at improving the position of women and preventing violence against women in particular. The NARS Speaker accepted the invitation with pleasure.
