The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic congratulated the Serbian university and high-school students on the International Students Day.

Dear university and high-school students,

Allow me to extend my most heartfelt congratulations on the 17 November, International Students Day, commemorating the 71st anniversary of the anti-fascist student protests, and wish that the idea that the youth of Prague protested against never repeats, and that you and your knowledge, enthusiasm and all the wealth of your youth and ideas be the key factor in the development of our country.

May this be yet another day to remind us of the role of young people in history and in our future, among other things through your efforts, dear university and high-school students, in your student parliaments today and in the National Assembly tomorrow.
