Mexican Ambassador to Serbia Visits PFG with Mexico
The members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Mexico met today with the Mexican Ambassador to Serbia H.E. Marco Antonio García Blanco to discuss the bilateral relations between the two countries.
The PFG members and the Mexican Ambassador spoke about expanding economic cooperation between the two countries as well as trade, cultural and sports cooperation.
Ambassador García Blanco then briefed the PFG members on the coming elections for President of the United Mexican States, senators, delegates and representatives of local self-governments in Mexico planned for July. He invited all interested institutions in Serbia to observe the election process in his country.
The Head of the PFG with Mexico Ana Karadzic thanked Ambassador García Blanco for Mexico’s support on the Kosovo-Metohija issue, adding that she was pleased by the recent increase in trade between Serbia and Mexico.
The officials also discussed the election process in Mexico, campaigning and funding of political parties.
The meeting with the Mexican Ambassador to Serbia was attended by PFG members Ljupka Mihajlovska, Tijana Davidovac, Olivera Ognjanovic and Jelena Vujic Obradovic.
