The members of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy talked today, at the National Assembly House, with the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, Janko Veber.

Committee Chairperson Dr Aleksandra Tomic greeted the Slovenian Parliament President on the behalf of the Committee and the National Assembly’s Parliamentary Friendship Group with Slovenia, hoping that the visit would contribute to the successful cooperation between the two countries.
Slovenian National Assembly President Janko Veber shared the Slovenian Parliament’s work experience, stressing the importance of parliamentary cooperation for strengthening the two countries’ overall relations. He opined that Serbia’s Euro-integration process calls for energy independence, duly received infrastructural and environmental projects, as well as skilled staff. Veber invited the Committee members to come and visit the Slovenian Parliament and learn about its experience in direct contact, particularly the preparation of legislation related to public administration reform, privatisation and banking sector recovery.
The meeting was attended by Committee members Vladimir Ilic, Aleksandar Senic, Bojana Bozanic, Slavica Savic, Velimir Stanojevic and Zoran Andjelkovic.
