Markovic and Hungarian Parliamentary Defence and Law Enforcement Committee Chairman Discuss Further Cooperation
The Deputy Chairman of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee Aleksandar Markovic met today in the Chairman of the Hungarian Parliamentary Committee on Defence and Law Enforcement Lajos Kosa to discuss the cooperation between the two committees on all topics of mutual interest.
The officials agreed that there is significant room to improving interparliamentary cooperation, as well as cooperation in the field of defence between Serbia and Hungary. They opined that it would be of mutual benefit to realise, in the near future, an exchange of visits by delegations of the two committees responsible for defence.
Markovic and Kosa exchanged opinions on the current political situation in Europe, the migrant crisis, Serbia's prospects for EU membership and the situation in Kosovo-Metohija.
