MPs Attend Workshop on Legal Regulations and Implementation of New Conflict of Interest Guidelines
The National Assembly hosted an online workshop for the MPs on legal regulations and practical application of conflict of interest guidelines, organized by the Anti-Corruption Agency with the support of the Accountable Governance Project of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency Dragan Sikimic and the Director of the Accountable Governance Project Jacquelyn Williams-Bridgers addressed the attending MPs in an introductory speech.
Agency Assistant Director Verka Atanackovic spoke about legal regulations and practical application of conflict of interest guideline in more detail. She explained how to identify a potential conflict of interest, which public office and activities should be avoided and what to do in case of conflict of interest or if one learns that a person is in conflict of interest.
