MP Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic Opens Parliamentary Constituency Office
MP Vladimir Marinkovic opened a Parliamentary Constituency Office today at the National Assembly and on the occasion said that the purpose of the Office it to improve the relationship between the National Assembly and the citizens, NGOs and the institutions of the Republic of Serbia.
Vladimir Marinkovic added that the Law on the Election of MPs should be amended so as to allow all the regions and citizens of Serbia to have their own representatives at the National Assembly.
Marinkovic said that a volunteer from the Faculty of Political Science would be working in the Office, at the same time thanking the representatives of the NDI office who would be training all the volunteers. He invited the other MPs to forge closer ties with the public by opening parliamentary constituency offices
In addition to the MPs, the opening of the Office was also attended by representatives of the academic community, economy and diplomatic corps, as well as many media representatives.
Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic’s Parliamentary Constituency Office is situated in the offices of the Social Democratic Party of Serbia Parliamentary Group in the National Assembly Building, 14 Kralja Milana Street.
