Judges Take Oath of Office
Judges Tatjana Djurica from Belgrade and Miomir Mitrovic from Nis took the oath of office today, before the Chair of the First Sitting of the National Assembly, Member of Parliament Zaharije Trnavcevic, in line with the High Judicial Council Decision on the adoption of objections and the election of judges to permanent judicial office.
Following the oath taking ceremony, attended by Mirjana Ivic, Deputy President of the High Judicial Council and Veljko Odalovic, National Assembly Secretary General, the Chair of the First Sitting of the National Assembly wished the elected judges good luck and success in their work.
The High Judicial Council adopted the Decisions in the process of reexamining the decisions of the first convocation of the High Judicial Council on the termination of judicial office at the sessions held between 14 May and 30 May 2012.
