Jovanov Receives Delegation of Municipality Srebrenica

The Head of the ALEKSANDAR VUCIC – Serbia Must Not Stop Parliamentary Group Milenko Jovanov and Deputy Head of the ALEKSANDAR VUCIC – Serbia Must Not Stop Parliamentary Group Nevena Djuric, as well as the President of the Republic of Serbia - Republic of Srpska Parliamentary Forum Dusan Maric received a delegation of the municipality of Srebrenica consisting of the head of the municipality, councilors, representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church and entrepreneurs from Srebrenica.

Milenko Jovanov said that the Serbian people are facing a difficult situation and pressures, regardless of where they live. He spoke of the resent UN General Assembly where it was avoided, thanks to the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, to stigmatise our people, saying that though the Resolution was adopted, it was not done so with an absolute majority, as the proposers expected. Jovanov stressed that any problem can be overcome with the unity of the Serbian people and mutual support.

The the head of the municipality of Srebrenica Mladen Grujicic thanked Serbia for all the efforts it invested in the UN and for the brotherly support. Grujicic, along with the other members of the delegation, informed the MPs about the current political and economic situation in Srebrenica, drawing attention to the very important topic of local elections, scheduled for October of this year.

The officials agreed that it is essential to maintain the unity of the Serbian people in Srebrenica and try to reach a broad consensus of the political factors on the eve of the local elections.
