Journalists Welcome to National Assembly

The National Assembly Speaker, MA Nebojsa Stefanovic, believes the behaviour of MP Vuceta Toskovic and his verbal attack on FoNet journalist Slobodan Andjelkovic unacceptable.

The Parliament is a place where journalists are welcome and can, in line with journalistic and ethical standards, keep the public informed freely and independently, stressed Stefanovic. I apologise to the Serbian citizens on the behalf of the Serbian Progressive Party and I expect Vuceta Toskovic to apologise to the FoNet journalist.
The NARS Speaker urged the MPs not to abuse their position, stressing that he would not allow disputes with representatives of the media in the Parliament.
