Hundred and Fifty-Fifth Sitting of the Legislative Committee

At the sitting held on 29 December, the Legislative Committee considered the amendments to the 14 Bills included in the agenda for the Sixth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2011.


The Committee unanimously deemed all the amendments, except three, submitted to the Bill on the 2012 Budget of the Republic of Serbia, with its accompanying proposals of decisions granting consent to the 2012 financial plans of: 1) the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance, 2) the Republic Health Insurance Fund, 3) the National Employment Service, legally feasible.

The Committee also deemed all the amendments submitted to the Bills amending and modifying the Budget System Law, Excise Tax Law, Legal Entity Profit Tax Law, Law on Mandatory Social Insurance Contributions, Law on Tax Procedure and Tax Administration, Law on Mandatory Traffic Insurance and Law on Environmental Protection Fund, as well as to the Bill modifying the Law on Public Roads, legally feasible.

Out of the 14 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Criminal Procedure Code, the Legislative Committee rejected seven which it deemed incomplete. The Committee deemed the amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Organisation of Courts and Bill amending the Law on Public Prosecution legally feasible, and out of the four amendments submitted to the Bill modifying the Law on Court Fees, one amendment was deemed incomplete.
