Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality Committee Chairman Congratulates International Roma Day
Today, the Chairman of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality, Meho Omerovic, congratulated the International Roma Day.
“On the behalf of the members of the National Assembly’s Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality and myself, I extend our sincerest congratulations to all Roma men and women on the International Roma Day.
This day is an occasion to show solidarity and support for the Roma national minority, beset by many problems.
I am sure that by our joint efforts on strengthening tolerance and solidarity we can make a positive change and improve the status of the Roma national community, contribute to their emancipation, better standard and social integration, while preserving their authentic language, culture and tradition”, says the letter of congratulations.
