Head of Parliamentary Friendship Group with Cuba Meets with Cuban Ambassador to Serbia
The Head of the National Assembly’s Parliamentary Friendship Group with Cuba Prof. Dr Ljubisa Stojmirovic met today, at the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba, with the Cuban Ambassador to Serbia, H.E. Adela Mayra Ruiz Garcia.
The Cuban Ambassador welcomed the Head of the PFG with Cuba Prof. Dr Ljubisa Stojmirovic with words of condolences for the loss of two Serbian diplomats in Libya.
The officials discussed current international issues, with a special focus on the development and strengthening of bilateral relations between Serbia and Cuba in the domain of cooperation between the two parliaments and their respective parliamentary friendship groups.
Prof. Dr Stojmirovic briefed H.E. Adela Mayra Ruiz Garcia on the issues garnering interest at the parliament at the moment, also saying that he was open to exchanging ideas on future cooperation.
The officials opined that the cooperation between the two parliaments is good, adding that they expected the friendly relations to follow the same upward trend.
