Head of PFG with Poland Meets with Polish Ambassador

The Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Poland Veroljub Arsic met today at the National Assembly House with Polish Ambassador to Serbia Rafal Perl.

On behalf of the Head of the Polish Parliamentary Friendship Group with Serbia Malgorzata Gosiewska, the Ambassador handed the Head of the PFG with Poland an official invitation for him and the members of the PFG to visit the Polish Parliament.

"I sincerely believe that the visit will be a great opportunity to strengthen ties between our countries and intensify Polish-Serbian parliamentary relations," states the invitation.

On behalf of the members of the PFG and himself, Arsic extended gratitude for the invitation and the opportunity to further strengthen the already friendly relations between the two nations through direct contact.

The officials agreed that Serbia and Poland enjoy a dynamic bilateral cooperation, as evidenced by the exchange of visits at the highest diplomatic level. The Ambassador took the opportunity to congratulate Arsic being elected Head of the PFG with Poland and expressed his belief that his rich parliamentary experience would significantly contribute to an even better and more intensive interparliamentary cooperation.
