Head of PFG with Cuba Meets with Cuban Charge d’Affaires

The Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Cuba Bojan Torbica and PFG member Djordje Komlenski met today, at the National Assembly House with the Charge d’Affaires and former Cuban Ambassador to Serbia Gustavo Trista del Todo.

The officials expressed pleasure at the excellent cooperation and constant contacts between the Serbian Cuban parliamentarians, also evidence by the last year’s successful visit of the PFG members to Cuba.

Bojan Torbica said that the people Cuba should be admired for their patriotism and perseverance in the face of the undeserved sanctions. He hopes that they would soon be lifted or at least mitigated so that Cuba could develop its economy and tourism.
