Ambassador Csaba said that in the last Canadian census about 96 thousand people declared to be of Serbian origin and such a broad diaspora guarantees solid relations with Serbia. She added that there is ample room to intensify cooperation, especially in the fields of trade, mining and culture, something which the PFG with Canada could play an important role in.

The officials discussed the initiative to jointly commemorate the 100th anniversary of World War One by placing a memorial plaque at the Canadian Senate and organizing an exhibition of the Canadian War Museum in Serbia in memory of the two countries’ joint efforts in combating the enemy.
