Head of National Assembly Delegation to PACE Dr Aleksandra Tomic Meets with Ukrainian Ambassador to Serbia
The Head of the National Assembly delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Dr Aleksandra Tomic met today at the National Assembly House with the Ukrainian Ambassador to Serbia, H.E. Oleksandr Aleksandrovych.
Praising the cooperation between the two countries, Tomic said that Serbia and Ukraine are always open to discuss all and any issues at hand. She stressed that Serbia is grateful to Ukraine for its principled stance on our country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
Tomic opined that the Serbian and Ukrainian delegation would be very active at the coming session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in late January.
The Ukrainian Ambassador agreed that the bilateral relations between the two countries are at a satisfactory level adding that there is room to advance interparliamentary, as well as other types of cooperation. Aleksandrovych informed his host about the new composition of the Ukrainian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe headed by Elizaveta Yasko.
Speaking of Serbia and Ukraine’s reciprocal support in international organizations, he said that Ukraine will always support Serbia’s territorial integrity.
