Head of National Assembly’s Delegation to APF at 30th Regional Session in Sarajevo

The Head of the National Assembly’s standing delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie (APF) Jadranka Jovanovic took part in the 30th jubilee session of the APF for the European Region in Sarajevo, 23-26 October 2017.

The main topic of the 30th session was “Stimulating employment and socio-economic growth in Francophone states and highlighting the advantage of speaking French for job seekers”.

The session also touched on the EU accession process of the Western Balkans, as well as projects and investments the realization of which could be assisted by the APF member states.

The participants were addressed by the representatives of the EU Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina who spoke about the implementation of the reform agenda and development of private entrepreneurship in the European integration process of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as businessmen from Bosnia and Herzegovina who spoke about education and learning foreign languages, especially French, as strategic tools in the job creation process.
