Green Parliamentary Group Has Meeting on EU's New Climate Targets

The informal Green Parliamentary Group held a thematic meeting on Tuesday, 2 November 2021, on the EU's new climate targets and their implementation in Serbia. The reason behind the meeting is the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, 31 October to 12 November 2021 (COP26).

In addition to the EU climate targets, the meeting also focused on the initiatives for the establishment of Green Councillors Groups within local assemblies. The MPs also received more information about the Green Parliamentary Group in the Assembly of AP Vojvodina, which resumed operation at the session held on 29 October 2021. Lidija Radulovic of the Green Parliamentary Group Secretariat and MP Tomislav Jankovic briefed the attending MPs on these topics.

The following MPs attended the thematic meetin: Nenad Mitrovic, Nenad Krstic, Nevenka Kostadinova, Danijela Veljovic, Samira Cosovic, Natasa Jovanovic, Petar Vesovic, Ljubisa Stojmirovic, Vesna Krisanov, Tomislav Jankovic, Dragana Brankovic Mincic, Nevena Veinovic, Olja Petrovic, Milija Miletic, Vesna Nedovic, Boris Bursac, Vesna Ivkovic and Bosiljka Srdic.
