Gojkovic Visits Yad Vashem

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic started her visit to Israel by laying a wreath at the Holocaust Remembrance Centre Yad Vashem in Jerusalem.

Gojkovic paid respects to the victims of the Holocaust by laying a wreath at the Hall of Remembrance and also signed the memorial book.

The National Assembly Speaker is visiting Israel at the invitation of the Speaker of the Knesset Yuli-Yoel Edelstein with whom she is to meet on Wednesday, 14 February.

The National Assembly delegation also includes Parliament Deputy Speaker and Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Israel Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic.
