Birla said that the economic ties between the two countries have been strengthened in the last few years, with Indian companies investing into tractor production and other areas and India taking part in the agricultural fair in Novi Sad this year.
Speaking of strengthening cultural ties, Birla said that India greatly appreciates the Serbian people’s interest in yoga, with Belgrade and 13 Serbian towns celebrating the international day of yoga, organizing Indian dance programmes and Serbia increasingly becoming a sought after destination for Indian films.
