Gojkovic Denounces MP’s Threats Against President

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic denounces the threats MP Slavisa Ristic levelled against President Aleksandar Vucic.

“I most severely condemn the threats MP Slavisa Ristic levelled against President Aleksandar Vucic. These threats, coming at a time when the President of Serbia is deep in difficult talks trying to preserve Kosovo-Metohija and ensure the peace and safety of the Serbian citizens living in our southern province and all over Serbia, deserve to be censored. At the same time these threats are the very pinnacle of political aggression and hypocrisy and their purpose is obviously to weaken the position of Serbia and President Aleksandar Vucic. It is unacceptable to threaten the life of the President in Serbia. I am sure the President will not falter before such monstrous threats, wherever they might be coming from, and continue fighting to preserve Serbia and keep its people at their ancient hearths. This policy of the President and the Government of the Republic of Serbia has the support of the majority in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.”
