Fourth Sitting of the Subcommittee for the Consideration of Reports on Audits Conducted by the State Audit Institution

At the fourth sitting of the Subcommittee for the Consideration of Reports on Audits Conducted by the State Audit Institution, held as part of the 33rd sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending, on 15 June 2021, in Arandjelovac, Supreme State Auditor Stojanka Milovanovic presented the 2021 sector audit reports for Sector 2, while the 2021 sector audit reports for Sector 4 were presented by Supreme State Auditor Dragan Golubovic.

In the ensuing discussion on the presented sector reports, the Subcommittee members drew attention to the need to train people dealing in public procurement at the state and local level, as well as organising extraordinary controls and handing out stricter penalties for public procurement abuses.

The Subcommittee adopted the sector reports for Sector 2 and Sector 4, ruling to formulate the accompanying conclusions at a later sitting.

The sitting was chaired by Subcommittee Chairman Dr Milorad Mijatovic and attended Subcommittee members Veroljub Arsic, Zoltan Pek and Goran Kovacevic, as well as deputy member Mihailo Jokic.
