Fourth Sitting of the Security Services Control Committee
The Security Services Control Committee adopted the Security Information Agency Activity Report.
The reports cover the Agency’s most important activities in said period, providing a comprehensive overview of the Agency’s work and full insight into the realised activities and tasks within the Agency’s scope.
The Committee members stressed the need to pass a new normative framework to regulate the work of the Security Information Agency in line with European standards and their readiness to take active part in these activities. The Committee also agreed that the Republic of Serbia needs to employ solutions which contribute to the protection of national security and allow the security services to adequately respond to security threats and risks.
The Committee gave a positive assessment of the professionalism and work of the members of the Security Information Agency in said period and offered the Agency full support in the achievement of its priority tasks on the protection of the security and other interests of the Republic of Serbia and its citizens.
