Fourth Sitting of the Constitutional Issues Committee

At the sitting held on 7 November, the Constitutional Issues Committee considered the candidate list for Constitutional Court judges proposed by the National Assembly and nominated by the Speaker of the National Assembly.



At the sitting held on 7 November, the Constitutional Issues Committee considered the candidate list for Constitutional Court judges proposed by the National Assembly and nominated by the Speaker of the National Assembly.

The Committee sitting was chaired by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Oliver Dulic.

The Committee members exchanged opinions on legal provisions, that is the procedure of nominating candidates for the election of Constitutional Court judges.

By a majority of votes, the Committee members adopted the conclusion that the nominated candidates on the list from which the President of the Republic appoints five judges, and which was proposed by the Speaker of the National Assembly according to the agreement with Deputy Groups, meet the electoral conditions set by article 172 of the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia.
