Fourth Sitting of the Committee on Science and Technological Development
At the sitting held on 10 March, the Committee on Science and Technological Development considered the bills on the confirmation of: the Strasbourg Agreement Concerning the International Patent Classification of March 24, 1971, as amended on September 28 ,1979, the Agreement Establishing an International Classification of the Figurative Elements of Marks, drafted in Vienna on June 12, 1973, as amended on October 1, 1985 and the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs, adopted by the Diplomatic Conference on July 2, 1999.The bills were outlined by a representative of the Intellectual Property Office who stressed that the confirmation of these agreements is a pre-condition for Serbia’s approach to the European Union.

The Committee endorsed the three bills, with two reserved opinions.
The Committee’s 2009 Framework Activity Plan was also adopted at the sitting.
