The Director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Djuric, said that the incident at the Serbia-Albania football match was followed by a wave of violence in the past two weeks which is a threat to the stability and security of the entire region.
Djuric said that the period counted more than 30 incidents against the property and safety of Serbs living on the territory of Kosovo-Metohija. There have also been attacks on the Albanian population in central Serbia but the attackers were processed by the authorities of the Republic of Serbia and brought to justice, said Djuric.
