Foreign Affairs Committee Members Interview Newly-Appointed Serbian Ambassador to Czech Republic

The Chairman and members of the Foreign Affairs Committee conducted an interview with the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Czech Republic, Vera Mavric, before deployment to diplomatic duty.


Ambassador Mavric highlighted the traditionally good relations between Serbia and the Czech Republic and presented the areas where there is room to further cooperation between the two countries. Economic cooperation is an important segment of our bilateral relations, said Vera Mavric adding that there is room to intensify interparliamentary dialogue.
The Committee members also stressed the importance of cultural exchange and cooperation between Serbia and the Czech Republic, highlighting the importance of the opening of the Serbian House in Prague in 2012 to that end.
