Foreign Affairs Committee Chairperson Talks to Head of OSCE Mission to Serbia
Foreign Affairs Committee Chairperson Aleksandra Djurovic met today, at the National Assembly House, with the Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia H.E. Peter Burkhard.
Djurovic stressed the importance of regional parliamentary initiatives and cooperation for the countries of the region, as well as their cooperation and mutual support in international organisations. The Foreign Affairs Committee Chairperson added that the National Assembly is to host the meeting of South East Europe foreign affairs committees in April, to be attended by the committee chairpersons and heads of standing delegations to OSCE PA and PACE.
In the course of the meeting, the officials also discussed the significance of the support the OSCE Mission to Serbia could offer for the strengthening of the Foreign Affairs Committee’s control role.
