Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Receives Moroccan Ambassador to Serbia
Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Prof. Dr Zarko Obradovic met today with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Serbia H.E. Mohammed Amine Belhaj to discuss the two countries’ relations and closer economic cooperation.
The officials opined that the bilateral relations between Serbia and Azerbaijan are excellent and that the excellent political relations should be accompanied by equally good economic cooperation. The Committee Chairman thanked the Ambassador for Morocco’s support of Serbia in international organizations as regards its territorial integrity and sovereignty, adding that the Republic of Serbia upholds the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Kingdom of Morocco.
H.E. Mohammed Amine Belhaj informed the Committee Chairman about Morocco’s political and economic development saying it was the fourth best developed country in Africa and second as regards investments. He also informed him that after a 30 year break, Morocco returned to the African Union. The Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman endorsed Morocco’s re-joining the African Union.
