Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Meets with Ethiopian MP
The Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Prof. Dr Zarko Obradovic met with the member of the Federal Parliament of Ethiopia prof. Ayalew Zeleke, at the National Assembly House.
Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Prof. Dr Zarko Obradovic briefed the guest on the National Assembly’s work and activities, thanking Ethiopia for its principled stance on the status of Kosovo-Metohija and its supporting Serbia in international organisations, especially during the vote at the UNESCO General Assembly.
The member of the Federal Parliament of Ethiopia and deputy head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Serbia prof. Ayalew Zeleke said that he would initiate an intensification of the cooperation between the two parliaments, and a re-establishment of the Embassy in Belgrade.
During the meeting the officials also opined that educational and cultural exchange is important for the further development of bilateral cooperation, which is confirmed by the Serbian Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development programme “World in Serbia” realised every school year since 2010.
