First Sitting of the Social Policy and Poverty Reduction Monitoring Subcommittee, In Charge of the Fourth Group of Least Developed and Devastated Municipalities and the Territory of AP Kosovo-Metohija

At its first sitting, held on 28 May 2021, the Social Policy and Poverty Reduction Monitoring Subcommittee, in charge of the fourth group of least developed and devastated municipalities and the territory of AP Kosovo-Metohija, outlined a plan of activities.


The Subcommittee members agreed to draft a list of unemployed persons in 24 municipalities of the fourth group of least developed and devastated municipalities and the territory of AP Kosovo-Metohija.

The Subcommittee elected Danijela Vujicic Deputy Chairperson.

The Subcommittee also discussed touring the fourth group of least developed and devastated municipalities in Serbia and decided to rule on the first visit at the next sitting. The Subcommittee members also decided to donate 5.5 tonnes of sweets to the youngest citizens on the territory of AP Kosovo-Metohija.

The Subcommittee’s task is to monitor the situation in the least developed and devastated municipalities, consider bills and other draft acts concerning the endangered population of said areas, monitor the work of the Government, the measures it sets in place, conditions and manner of conduct, executors and funds for the conduct of measures concerning the endangered population of the devastated areas of the Republic of Serbia and AP Kosovo-Metohija. It is the Subcommittee’s task to consider all activities organised and conducted by the bodies of the Republic of Serbia, local self-government units and other subjects.

The sitting was chaired by Subcommittee Chairman Nenad Krstic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: MA Danijela Vujicic, Ana Carapic, Branimir Spasic, Milija Miletic and Milanka Jevtovic Vukojicic
