First Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee
The Foreign Affairs Committee held its first sitting on 24 July 2012.
Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting, convened by the National Assembly Speaker, as stipulated in Article 25 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, was chaired by the oldest Committee member present, MP Ljubisa Stojmirovic from the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group.
The Committee members elected MP Milos Aligrudic, from the Democratic Party of Serbia - Vojislav Kostunica Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairman, and MP Gojko Radic, from the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group, Committee Deputy Chairman.
