First Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee

The Defence and Internal Affairs Committee held its first sitting on 31 August 2022, convened by National Assembly Speaker Dr Vladimir Orlic, as stipulated in Article 25 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.

Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member present, MP Haji Milorad Stosic of the PUPS – Solidarity and Justice Parliamentary Group.

The Committee members unanimously elected MP Dr Milos Jovanovic of the HOPE – NEW DSS – POKS Parliamentary Group Committee Chairman, and Aleksandar Markovic of the “ALEKSANDAR VUCIC – TOGETHER WE CAN DO ANYTHING” Parliamentary Group Committee Deputy Chairman.
