First Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government
The Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government held its first sitting on 24 July 2012. As stipulated in Article 25 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, the sitting was convened by the National Assembly Speaker, MA Nebojsa Stefanovic.
Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, MP Vuceta Toskovic from the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group.
The Committee members unanimously elected MP Petar Petrovic, from the United Serbia Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairman, and agreed to elect the Committee Deputy Chairperson at the next sitting.
