First Sitting of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality

The Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality held its first sitting on 1 April 2024.

The sitting was convened by National Assembly Speaker Ana Brnabic, as stipulated in Article 25 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.

Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, MP Slobodan Nikolic, of the PS - NSS - USS - RS Parliamentary Group.

The Committee members elected MP Aleksandar Markovic, of the ALEKSANDAR VUCIC – Serbia Must Not Stop Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairman, while Boris Bajic, of the “Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians Parliamentary Group, was elected Committee Deputy Chairman.
