First Sitting of the Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality

The Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality held its first sitting on 26 October 2020, convened by National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic, as stipulated in article 25, paragraph 1 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.


Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, Ljubo Petrovic of the Socialist Party of Serbia Parliamentary Group.

By majority vote, the Committee members elected MP Muamer Bacevac of the Social Democratic Party of Serbia Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairman, and Dragoljub Ackovic of the ”Aleksandar Vucic – For Our Children” Parliamentary Group, Committee Deputy Chairman.
