First Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues
The Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues held its first sitting on 2 April 2024.
The Committee sitting was convened by National Assembly Speaker Ana Brnabic, as stipulated in Article 25 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member present, MP Risto Kostov, of the PUPS – Solidarity and Justice Parliamentary Group.
The Committee members unanimously elected MP Jelena Zaric Kovacevic, of the ALEKSANDAR VUCIC – Serbia Must Not Stop Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairperson, and Milica Nikolic, of the ALEKSANDAR VUCIC – Serbia Must Not Stop Parliamentary Group, Committee Deputy Chairperson.
