The Speaker of the National Assembly, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, informed the deputies that the Fifth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2009, convened for Monday, 23 February 2009, starting at 1 p.m. has been cancelled.

The Assembly Speaker informed the deputies that the Government of the Republic of Serbia retracted their request for an extraordinary session of the National Assembly by letter on 20 February 2009, so the conditions for holding an extraordinary session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia under the Constitution are no longer fulfilled.
