European Integrations Committee Members Receive Pride Parade 2011 Organising Committee Representatives
European Integrations Committee Chairman Laszlo Varga and Committee members Gordana Comic, Aleksandra Jerkov and Ivan Andric met today with the representatives of the Pride Parade 2011 Organising Committee Jovanka Todorovic, Darko Kenig and Goran Miletic.
The meeting was held at the initiative of the representatives of the Pride Parade 2011 Organising Committee who briefed the European Integrations Committee members on the course of the preparations and the problems in the organisation of the event.
On the occasion, the European Integrations Committee members pointed out that freedom of association and expression are fundamental constitutional values and appealed to the competent authorities to take the effort to make sure the Pride Parade take place in peace and without incident.
