European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Varhelyi Talks to Participants of Inter-Party Dialogue

Today, the National Assembly hosted a meeting of National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic and European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi with the participants of the inter-party dialogue facilitated by the European Parliament.

The meeting was also attended by MEPs Tanja Fajon, Chair of the Delegation to the EU-Serbia Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee, and Vladimir Bilcik, European Parliament’s Standing Rapporteur on Serbia.

The participants of the meeting discussed the course of the inter-party dialogue and the implementation of the commitments set to improve the election procedure with Commissioner Varhelyi and the MEPs, as well as the participation of national minorities in the elections, equitable representation of minorities in the parliament, media freedom and Serbia’s further European-integration.

Zoran Zivkovic, leader of the New Party, Dr Muamer Zukorlic, leader of the Justice and Reconciliation Party, Elvira Kovacs, deputy head of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians Parliamentary Group, Djordje Vukadinovic, deputy head of the New Serbia – Movement for Serbia’s Salvation Parliamentary Group, Vojislav Vujic, member of the United Serbia Parliamentary Group, Dr Milorad Mijatovic, head of the Social Democratic Party of Serbia Parliamentary Group, Djordje Milicevic, head of the Socialist Party of Serbia Parliamentary Group, Dr Vladimir Orlic, deputy head of the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group, Cedomir Jovanovic, head of the Liberal Democratic Party - League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina - SDA Sandzak Parliamentary Group, Enis Imamovic, deputy head of the Liberal Democratic Party - League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina - SDA Sandzak Parliamentary Group, Nenad Canak, member of the Liberal Democratic Party - League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina - SDA Sandzak Parliamentary Group, Tatjana Macura, head of the Party of Modern Serbia Parliamentary Group, Momo Colakovic, member of the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia Parliamentary Group, Djordje Komlenski, head of the Socialists’ Movement - People’s Peasant Party - United Peasant Party Parliamentary Group, Velimir Ilic, leader of New Serbia, and Tomislav Zigmanov, leader of the Democratic Alliance of Vojvodina Croats, took part in the meeting with the European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement.
