Environmental Protection Committee Members Take Part in Roundtable on Green Economy and Recycling
On 28 November 2014, Environmental Protection Committee Chairman Dr Branislav Blazic and Committee members Ivan Karic, Gordana Zoric and Milan Korac took part in the roundtable on Green Economy and Recycling, in the offices of Lafarge company in Beocin.
The roundtable was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, Provincial Secretariat for Urbanism, Construction and Environmental Protection, local self-governments, company Lafarge BFC, CEDEF, public utility companies and NGOs.
The roundtable was hosted by the Lafarge company which has the integral license for the storage and treatment of communal and industrial waste and which has invested considerable funds into new green technologies.
The participants of the roundtable toured the Lafarge facilities for the treatment of communal waste.
