Emergency session on Kosovo and Metohia
The Chairman of the National Assembly, Predrag Markovic, held a customary meeting with representatives of Democratic Party of Serbia, Democratic Party, Serbian Renewal Movement - New Serbia, Socialist Party of Serbia and G17 Plus Deputies’ Groups.
The Chairman of the National Assembly, Predrag Markovic, held a customary meeting with representatives of Democratic Party of Serbia, Democratic Party, Serbian Renewal Movement - New Serbia, Socialist Party of Serbia and G17 Plus Deputies’ Groups. The meeting resulted in agreement being reached to hold an emergency session of the National Assembly, devoted to the situation in Kosovo and Metohia.
It was agreed that the Committee on Defence and Security, the Committee on Kosovo and Metohia and the Committee on Inter-ethnic Relations should be asked to prepare reports and data for the session from their fields of expertise, in co-operation with the Government of the Republic of Serbia and relevant Ministries.
As soon as the reports are received, the regular sitting of the National Assembly will be suspended, and an emergency session will be held for the reports to be discussed and resolutions passed.
